Alex Nocera is an Italian DJ, record producer, remixer. He started his career in 1989. Since that time he has remixed and produced a great number of singles including several charted in Europe. Alex Nocera achieved success as a record producer with a hit single 'The King and the Nursery' that entered the Radio Deejay Chart, followed by the single "Daimoku" that in 2003 entered the prestigious Chart compiled by British DJ Pete Tong for BBC Radio 1. Alex's career as a DJ has always been concentrated on live performances. He played in different European countries (England, Germany) on the main stages at such big festivals as Love Parade in Berlin (2001). In Italy he performs regularly in the best Italian clubs for the last 15 years. His activity on a radio includes some resultant collaborations with local and national stations where he participates not only as a DJ, but also as an audio technician and artistic director. Throughout his career Alex Nocera specializes also as a remixer. The most notable remixes are 'Su di noi' (originally Pupo) in 2003 and 'Shake dat booty' of Little Louie Vega pres. Anane in 2007. In 2007 he remixed 'Dance Ritual' of Cerrone vs Vega. Since that time Alex creates remixes for such international artists as Axwell, Jerry Ropero, Bob Sinclar, Steve Angello, Camille Jones, John Dahlback, Eddie Amador, Guru Josh and Fedde Le Grand. In 2009 Alex Nocera started the project StarClubbers in collaboration with Maurizio Montanari and the DJ Luca Belloni that gave birth to such tracks as "El Sonido Latino", "The Summer Is Magic" and "Little Talks" which charted in Italy and Europe. In the beginning of 2012 together with the DJ/producer Andrea Montorsi Alex started another project called "Nocera & Montorsi". In cooperation with EDM Top Djs they released "Emilia", "Gaza Ep", "Rave", "Blow The Whistle" and "Sonar". Since 2013 he has been working with Italian DJ Frankie P. on the project "FAN - Frankie & Nocera". Together they released "Lights Go Out", "Road Trippin" and "Raptured In Blue". Today Alex Nocera activity numbers more than 300 productions and hundreds of remixes. He currently works for the italian radionetwork M2O where he hosts a weekly radio show called "M2O Music Selection".
